Wondering what to do this weekend? Look no further than our own dowtown. There is lots to do in Sierra County this weekend. Check out the Elephant Butte Chile Challenge Cook-off tomorrow morning, and then after 4 come downtown to the Hot Springs Festival. There will be tours of our famous hot springs, free live music, street dancing, a beer garden, exhibits, vendors, food, children’s area, and lots, lots more. We hope you will join us to dunk an unsuspecting volunteers into the tank of water, or a relaxing ride around town touring the hot springs our town is famous for. Maybe you would rather grab the kids and come on down for an afternoon of the climbing wall, bubbles, chalk art, and bouncy house. Maybe you’d rather sit back in the shade and enjoy the sultry sounds of the HardRock Blues band and the smooth sounds of the Hard Road Duo. Whatever your fancy, we’ve got you covered.
