RioBravoFineArt: 110 N. Broadway

RioBravoFineArt, 110 North Broadway, Truth of Consequences, presents a dual artist show for its Second Saturday/Art Hop opening on April 12, 2025, from 6 to 9 pm. The artists are Nolan Winkler of Hillsboro and David D. Sorensen of Las Cruces.

The title for Sorensen’s part of the show is Solar Energy. Work by Sorensen will include a cross-section of his watercolors, photographs, and pastels. There will be work showing both the Southwest and Australia as two main geographic focal points. Sorensen’s work, regardless of the medium, captures locations and settings with a brilliant intensity. The title for Winkler’s section of the show is Medley. This show is a wide-ranging display of evocative images in Winkler’s unique style. Winkler's work combines a distinct use of color with representational and graphical elements.

Both Winkler and Sorensen are well-recognized artists of Southern New Mexico. This show with both side by side represents an excellent opportunity to compare the creative skills of two exceptional artists. This show continues through May 25, 2025.

The gallery show that opened in March, a dual artists show by Roy van der Aa and Gregory Montreuil, is ongoing through May 25, 2025. This show of works with two distinctive styles has been well-received for its visual richness.
