Open to youth 18 and under who live in Sierra County, NM
Competition Details:
Design a sign with a POSITIVE message about keeping T or C clean.
Choose one of thse slogans, or write your own:
"Help keep this area clean. Pick up and pitch in."
"Keep T or C beautiful! Throw trash in cans."
"Show some love, keep T or C clean."
Artwork must be original and solely created by the student artist.
There will be 2 categories, with one winner in each:
-ages 12 and under
-ages 13-18
Prize: $100 cash, and winning designs will be printed on 6 metal signs and posted around town to remind the public not to litter.
Parents/guardians of the winners will be asked to sign a release granting permission to MainStreet T or C to reproduce and display the student artwork.
Winners will be notified in mid-April and winning designs will be revealed (and prizes awarded) at a Litter Clean-up event on April 26.

How to enter:
Create your design, and include a separate page with the following info:
-name
-age (as of 3/28/25)
-grade and school (if applicable)
-phone number
Choose one of these ways to submit:
In person: In the front office of ANY T or C Municipal School District school: Hot Springs High, T or C Middle, Sierra Elementary, T or C Elementary, and Arrey Elementary.
**NOTE, you do not have to be a student at one of these schools to enter.

NOTE: If you would like your artwork back, please plan to pick it up at the MainStreet office (308 S. Pershing, the Studio de la Luz building) on Thursday, April 17 between 12 and 5 pm, or contact us to make alternate arrangements.
