On Tuesday, April 19th, MainStreet Truth or Consequences, City of T or C Parks Dept., The Boys and Girls Club, Girl Scout Troop 349, TOP Members, Sierra County Soil and Water Conservation Organization, USDA NRCS, City Island Beautification Fund, the Rio Bravo Fine Arts Gallery, and Miss Fiesta partnered to beautify Blue Star Park and the area across the street from the Boys and Girls Club.
Bushes, trees and plants were installed and red crusher rocks were spread over the area. Several benches and the Ralph Edwards Park sign poles were painted by MainStreet volunteers. The industrious group completed the job in 2 hours. When you are in the area, drive by and see what the youth in our community accomplished. Thank you to all our volunteers and supporters for this outstanding job!
Our next downtown clean-up event will take place on Saturday, April 30th at 10am. We will be meeting in front of the Chamber of Commerce. Please join us to improve our Historic downtown in preparation for Fiesta.
